In line with its mission statement, “The Therapeutic Riding Association of Virginia, Inc (TRAV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the benefits of equine-assisted services through education, collaboration and advocacy.“
As part of its member benefits, TRAV offers educational workshops twice a year. Please join us for this immersive, educational, and fun opportunity.

This education day is FREE to any TRAV member in good standing. There is a $20 charge for food and beverage.
For those individuals who wish to attend but are not currently TRAV members, the cost is $35.
Continuing Education Units: The TRAV Education Day satisfies up to four hours of PATH Intl. annual continuing education (CE) requirements in the areas of general continuing education, core, and disability.

1:00-2:00 Biosecurity (Core) Melinda Freckleton, DVM, Firestar Veterinary Services, LLC
2:00-2:15 Break And silent auction closes – Checks or cash accepted for silent auction items
2:15-3:15 Equine Welfare (Core), Anna Baucum, Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning Brook Hill Farm
We will have door prizes and a silent auction. We will accept cash or check.
Reminder: TRAV’s membership renewal period is January 1-March 31. Please plan to renew your membership before or at this meeting.
